Philip Hutton,
Soil Associate
Philip Hutton is a Soil Associate with Davis Horizons. Philip attended Clemson University, where he earned a B.S. in Environmental and Natural Resources with a Concentration in Natural Resources Management and a Minor in Geology, as well as an M.S. in Forest Resources.
During his graduate studies, Philip took pedology courses and assisted in teaching an undergraduate soil systems course. assisting students in learning a variety of soil topics. As part of his thesis, he researched the impact of land conversions on net-zero emission targets based on soil data and land cover change and was published in Geographies.
In his free time, Philip enjoys traveling, flatwater and whitewater kayaking, and finding new breweries to go to with his wife, Tylar, and dog, Porter.
